Hi Everyone! We're gearing up for our very first Christmas, and we'd like to kick it off by inviting you to the Annual Christmas Eve family party.
Because we little folk go to bed so early...and of course there's even a younger baby than us (Hi Olivia!!), mom and dad thought it would be nice to start the party off earlier than normal. Here are the details below:
Arrive: Anytime after 3:00pm
Babies/Kids Gifts: 4:30 or 5:00pm
Babies Dinner: 6:00pm
Babies Bedtime: 6:30 or 7:00pm
Grown-Ups Dinner: 7:00 - 8:00pm
Grown-Ups Gift Exchange: 9:00pm
We here that this shin-dig is usually done as a pot-luck...so why change a good thing? Here is a list of items that would be nice to have...if you could just let us know what you'd like to bring when you rsvp, then we'll add your name next to the item! We've put down some ideas we had...but any of this can be changed :-)
Main Dish: Lasagna - Mom & Dad
Drinks:
Hordeourves:
Snacks: Mom & Dad
Salad: Aunt Linda...we here you make a wonderful Waldorf salad...
Salad: Aunt Sarah...there's a rumor you're the queen of greek salads??
Pie: Uncle Chris...we know from Thanksgiving that there's an amazing apple pie brewing in your cooking experience
One Cup Cookies: Grandma Elena (we're putting this in because we've heard no one can make these cookies like Grandma does!
Cookies / Other: Cousin Yvonne...what is this we here about your spinach dip and also your fudge???
Lastly, mom and dad said that there's an annual gift exchange that occurs each year. Guess they feel it should continue on this year...so unless there are any dissenting opinions about this, here are the details for that!
Gift: Gender Neutral
Dollar Value: $50
Please remember...there's no pressure to participate. If you'd rather not, then just don't bring a gift, and you can just enjoy watching everyone else!!
Please RSVP by 12/17 so mom and dad can finish all the organizing. It takes a little longer than normal now because they have to take care of us too!
